Panic Attack Treatment



To treat a panic attack quickly, you must take control of your rapid breathing when you feel the first signs of anxiety and panic. You can apply the following technique for this.

Hold your breath by breathing in through your nose and wait for 10 counts.

Slowly breathe out and command yourself to relax or relax.

Breathe in 3 seconds and exhale in 3 seconds after this. Remember the command to relax or relax with each exhale.

Perform a 10-second breath holding process by returning to the head again at the end of every 10 breaths, ie 1 minute.

Continue this cycle until the symptoms of panic attacks disappear.

If you do the above actions as soon as you notice the first signs of fast breathing, you can stop the panic attack within 1-2 minutes. When you master these breathing exercises enough, it will be very easy to cope with panic attacks.

In the treatment of panic attacks, the method of breathing in and out of a paper bag can also be used. As you breathe into the paper bag, it breathes rich in carbon dioxide and you can keep the blood pH in balance.

Cognitive therapy will come into play on the permanent part of panic attack treatment and you will be able to completely get rid of panic attacks.
